A Connecticut native, Shea had an outstanding high school career at Wilbur Cross, becoming the program's all time record goal scorer as well as being a four-time All-Southern Connecticut Conference team selection, two-time All-State selection and named the 2013 Greater New Haven Soccer Officials Association Female Athlete of the Year. After a steller high school career she was recruited to St John's University to continue her soccer journey whilst obtaining her Criminal Justice degree.
Playing all four years before venturing over to Iceland and now playing in Australia with the Brisbane Roar. Coming off a historic 20/21 season both as a team and individually, with Brisbane Roar winning the treble and Shea picking up the NPL Women’s Player of the year & Golden Boot awards.
Shea has recently been offered a short term deal back in the US and is currently playing at the San Diego Wave.
