Prior to founding Soccer Student Pathway, James attended college in the US having been recruited through a soccer consultancy. Brought up in Woodford Green, Essex, James would go on to study and play soccer at Herkimer Community College (NY), contributing to one of the college’s most successful eras in their history, helping the team win back-to-back National Championships (NJCAA) during his two years whilst obtaining his Associate’s degree in 2014.
Due to his achievements in the classroom and on the field, James transferred to D1 St John’s University (NYC) to continue on his collegiate path which resulted in him earning a BA in Sports Management in 2016.
Having previously run his own recruitment and sales agency in New York and now as Director of SSP, James looks to bring his experience and expertise to helping students make the most of their sporting and academic talent within the US college soccer system. Having gone through the process himself he believes in creating a clear pathway for future student athletes in which they feel supported throughout their college experience with a gateway to transition into the professional game.
Through his extensive network with college coaches, and his own personal perspective of being involved at the highest collegiate level, SSP clients are able to access unparalleled information and guidance throughout.
